Good news!

Our mom got a kidney!

We are so grateful that we were able to find an incredible donor through the @Donor4Sue campaign. Our family is so appreciative of everyone who followed and shared our story.

My mom is out of the hospital and recovering very well at home. She no longer needs dialysis and can finally start to do the things that make her happy again (even swim….pic above)!

Our family was very lucky, but we recognize that many other people are still awaiting life-saving kidney transplants. We encourage everyone to become registered organ donors through your state’s website ( and support the National Kidney Foundation (

If anyone has any family or friends who are in need of a kidney and are looking to start a campaign to find a donor, don’t hesitate to reach out. We know how hard it can be to find a donor. Our advice is to always keep hope and don’t give up

Thank you to everyone from the bottom of my heart for your love and support ! It got me through these difficult and crazy two and a half years. Words cannot express my love and gratitude to my incredibly selfless donor and to all those who tested on my behalf! You are all truly amazing!

I am starting to feel like my old self and looking forward to getting back to living! I am happy to share my experience with anyone who may be going through this battle.

Cheers and lots of love to all!
